OC at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall?
Anyone OC at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall? I dont know what their policy is.....
anyone have any problems there? Im seriously starting to consider OC'ing and I figure the LV mall is the most crowded place I could go to. To be honest I'm a little nervous, I dont like negetive attention and extra bs, but I figure if I can make it through there I can make it through anywhere.

Typing "Lehigh Valley Mall" into the "search this forum" box, will yield a few results, try that, it saves server space...

Re: OC at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall?
I was just up at the mall on Saturday, but was CC. I was sitting on one of the "old people's benches" talking to some woman while my daughter was spending her Christmas cash, when the woman's daughter walked up. Her low-cut top hid very little when she bent over to fix one of her shoes. Dear God, I thought I died and went to heaven. After about a minute of that, I had more than one thing to CC.......

I haven't been there in two years and a week but there used to be a "No Weapons" sign on the doors. I CC the few times I go there.
The older I get, the better I used to be.

Re: OC at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall?
Don't bother... as with most malls, Lehigh valley has a "No Weapons" policy. OC'ing there is just asking to be told to leave.
If you are going to start OC'ing, just OC to your normal places of biz and avoid places you know have no guns policies (and especially those that have people watching - aka: security, like malls)

Re: OC at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall?
I was always there with the GF so I was CC...I did take off my jacket, sitting in Bravo once and the mother at the table across from me sat there and stared at me for a good hour, but otherwise no OC. This has pretty much been covered at this point. I wouldn't violate mall ninja policy. They also usually have officers walking around that mall. I saw one once who was carrying a nice 1911.
Also, don't OC to the Army/Navy Store over there....actually, just don't go there at all.How pissed are you gonna be if you die before the Zombie Apocalypse comes? - - IANAL

Re: OC at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall?
I have OCed there several times in the past and despite causing a mall cop to strain his neck and go in circles on his segway I was never approached, asked to cover up, or to leave. I think some other people may have been, though. I don't recall seeing any signs, but I was never really looking.
Conversations with mall employees (one of their mall ninjas lived upstairs from us in Allentown) lead me to believe they won't bother someone unless they get a complaint, and then they just want to make the complaint go away. They supposedly have the policy for insurance reasons and to give them grounds to ask someone to cover or leave if they do get a complaint, but YMMV.
As Pa Patriot said, a mall would not be a place I would recommend for OCing if they have a known policy against it.
Personally I can't help feeling that with all the money we dropped in Things Remembered and the Coach store leading up to our wedding they damn well better not have bothered usIf you don't know who your state legislators are go here:
