[FUNDRAISER]SUPPORT HOBSON
As many of you know, Hobson McKown is being persecuted by Centre county. Thread is here ("Man tries to take loaded gun to hearing")
He dared to question the authorities and they are out to make an example of him. Hobson had his LTCF revoked by Centre county's beloved sheriff, over an incident he was completely cleared of. Holding a valid N.H. license, he continued to carry lawfully. He went and took pictures to show the lack of required signage and storage facilities at the MDJ's office on the day of his hearing. This pissed off the locals, who then had a LEO wait for him to show up. At that point he was arrested for carrying a firearm into a court facility. They racked up other charges, searched his house without consent or a warrant, fabricated drug and bomb making charges against him, took his firearms, and held him for 23 days in lieu of $250000 cash bail. He has had most of the charges against him dropped or thrown out, but they are still proceeding with the carrying without a license charges, going so far as to exclude the fact that he had a valid N.H. license from being presented in his defense! This man put his money where his mouth is, he has not hemmed and hawwed about holding his local government accountable, and they are throwing everything they can at him. It is time for us, as a community, to step up and help him carry on the fight! Any money donated will go directly to his lawyer. I don't normally post "money sent" or whatever, but in this case because this is so over due, and I hold myself responsible for not being more proactive in this case, I want Hobson to know that I will send what I can. Money is tighter than ever, but I will send what I can whenever I can. This has dragged out far too long.
You hang in there Hobson. There are those on this forum that appreciate your struggle.
