Unhappy Why do so few people vote?

This is really discouraging... I've been handing out pro-gun voters guides, and in the process I've talked to quite a few pro-gun people who don't vote in non-national elections. It's no wonder we are losing our rights.

I even ran across one "pro-gun" guy who doesn't vote in any elections...

Save our Rights, save our Country, get out and vote!

For too many of us (and Americans in general), whining after-the-fact is preferable to doing your homework on the candidates and spending a few minutes in line. I figure I can at least cancel out the vote of some clueless teenager who thinks "government" is there to hand them everything they need (or want).

In my opinion a lot less people should be voting.

Laziness. It'll be an inconvenience for me to vote Tuesday, but I'll find a way to do it. Most people would rather not go out of the way.

To be honest I haven't got the slightest idea who is running for office or even which offices are open for the election on Tuesday... and I have no idea where I can look and find it?
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

American Idol isnt even on right now...LOL

But most responses are correct... people are too lazy to search out the candidate that they feel is not only best suited for the position, but one that has shown a track record for the views the voter is looking for.

But, like other also said, some would like to just sit back, not vote, and bitch about the ones that are elected.

They dont realize that even a mediocre candidate is better than a lousy one....
