Default Job Classified section on this site?

You know, I was thinking yesterday...

With many people here on this sight now unemployed/looking for work would it be beneficial to have a "Job classified" section on this site somewhere (either help wanted or employement needed)?

I'm blessed to have a steady job...and we're actually busy!

I work two other part time jobs in different industries, so I have my "feelers" out there as well as to who else is hiring.

We *may* be hiring an additional Class B CDL driver to do local deliveries. This would be a Union position & most of our guys work 4 ten hour days (Tues-Fri). Pretty sweet gig. Good money, great benefits and a 3 day weekend! We also do warehousing & have retail locations in both Wyomissing & Philadelphia. The list of jobs here are pretty diverse...everything from IT, customer service, outside sales, retail sales, truck driving (class B mostly) and warehousing (both day & night shift).

If it becomes "official", I'd like to post it here first before we go to outside advertising.

    What do you guys think???

I think that would be a good idea. Way to look out for your friends.

I think it is also a great idea. I will be adding a sales job soon and would not hesitate to look here first, if the right guy is out there...

If anyone is lisensed with property and casualty I know a State Farm agent that is in need of a sales person in the Quakertown area.

This is a great idea, I'm just afraid it might be a little dead in there. I'd love to see it happen, though

I remember that someone suggested the same thing a while back but I think there was a reason it didn't take.

    I'm all for it.

Good idea but it probably won't happen. Dan tends to stay away from anything that's not firearm related for forum/sub-forums.

There might be better luck starting a Job thread and getting it changed to a sticky in the Lounge section.

This is correct. We're not a job board, we're a gun board.

Why not just post in Members helping members or pay it forward thread

I like the idea of putting it in the members section. It's a little bonus that might help people to contribute to the site.
