Wink Courthouse - York Administrative Bldg

And then it dawned on me... I realized I wasn't carrying enough with me because I received only 1 locker card....

So they didn't even bother asking you to keep it in your car?! I guess you went during the right part of the day.

By law they must provide you with a locker. If they ask you to put it in your car they are violating your rights.

Also I recently had to go talk to someone in the DA's office about filing charges on the DUI driver who hit my wife... walked in, checked the gun, no problems to really speak of.
It was actually kind of funny... they said hey bud how's it going, I said fine, great to see you guys... they said Probation right? I said huh? They said you're a probation officer right? I said no regular citizen.
Then they got all serious & said hang on, let me see your "permit" I said my license is in the locker as you had instructed me to do in the past. He opened the locker, looked at my license & said oh yeah I remember you from jury duty. Go ahead. After my business was done & I was getting my gun back they asked if I was comming back after lunch... I said no I was just trying to get the DA to file charges on a DUI driver & had to talk to someone in that office. They said cool deal! Have a great day bud. They are really a bunch of nice guys there. They just don't seem to be used to anyone other than LEO checking a firearm.
