Default Hiding a gun or safe in plain sight.

anyone try or have any ideas on this? I came across a thread on here that someone was going to try to do it to an old Coke machine, but never saw anything of it.

    Something like this:

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

Delivering gun safes and setting them up in garages some people have us cut the 1 side of the box off so you have a 3 sided box to put over the safe so when the garage door is open you don't see the safe. But I am sure the brown box does draw some attention because of it's size from neighbors and friends.

I'd like to find a way to have shotgun hidden with easy access. Just haven't figured out how and where yet. As far as a safe, it's in plain sight, well secured to 2 walls and the floor. You're not going to move it without a jackhammer and a chainsaw.

I had a friend rebuild a sleeper/sofa that slept like a sleeper sofa into a safe.

seeing how they all are about as comfortable as sleeping on crushed concrete, he decide one day to 'fix' it.

He removed the mattress and all the fold up hardware and welded up a steel enclosure fitted to the opening, lined it with fireproof insulation, inner steel lining. all designed with stepped edges so no pry bar could be inserted.

Hardened rod locking pins etc..... opens upright like a chest after you remove the cushions and pull out the spring frame [with fabric liner].

The spring frame had some bell crank linkage that made it latch down/fold up out of the way.

so, pull off cushions, pop spring frame, unlock and open chest....

in the end the sofa was a whole lot nicer to sit on too.

If God didn't intend us to have guns why would he have given us a trigger finger?

Be my guest, if you do go through it, you need to post pictures so I know what to do...
