I can't even begin to describe how bad this movie was to watch. The best part of the movie was the end credits.

I feel cheated out of my money.

So many things were wrong with it.... Don't get me wrong. I love a good "comic book" type movie. Xmen, Wolverine, Star Trek, etc... But this...

How is it that a guy can turn a plane going Mach 6 on a dime and not end up as a puddle of goo in the cockpit? And for crying out loud everyone knows that ice floats!

The movie was one bad cgi scene after another. At no point did I think, "That was cool." No, it was more like, "That didn't quite work."

Anyway... I had high hopes for it as the franchise could really go places in the movies. Sadly though, I pray they let this thing die and do not attempt a sequel.

i took my son when it first came out, and went in thinking it was going to be just horrible, i came out thinking it wasnt near as bad as i thought it would be, not great mind you but better than what i thought they could do with that caracter.

I thought they tried to cram too much back story in. I also thought it wasn't great, but it wasn't that bad. There is a ton of potential if they can focus better in the next one. I had fun watching it.

First, how can you watch and love Xmen, Wolverine, and Star Trek and then make the next statement (in bold). I mean come on. (Insert smiley here please)

Remember.... It isn't real life. Isn't suppose to be real life. It is purely entertainment. It sucks when you really know how things are suppose to work and you watch a movie about it, doesn't it.

It is like watching a hospital show with a nurse. All you hear is "you can't do that", "That isn't how that works." "You would be sued to death if you really did that." "That would kill that person if you really did that, that way."

Or....

A cheaply made war movie with a hard core gun nut. "That weapon wasn't even made yet." "That round would never do that." " You can't do that to a tank with that weapon."

But the rest of the audiance is smiling and enjoying the show, cause they don't know better and are just enjoying it for the entertainment.

Nope, no chance in hell of it happening. But forget reality. Go just for the fun of it. I know... that is hard to do at times.

Haven't seen Joe and likely won't either. We saw Inglorious Basterds and it was pretty cool. Definately a Tarantino flick without a doubt.
