Default I picked up 2 colt 1911s the other day

My one friend ended up getting all sorts of guns given to him from our one friend that lived in NY and passed away over a year ago. we found all sorts of gun parts in the house, but no guns, we come to find out that here he had safty deposit boxs out in in another state. they flew out there to open the boxs only to find 24 guns in there. they took them all to an FFL out there and had them sent back and transfered over. as soon as I seen the pictures that he sent me in an email I knew that I was going to pick these 2 out of there to add to my collection. id like to pick up a couple more out of his collection yet but im just glad to pick these up for now.

Nice pair of ponies! Congrats, I am sure the GCNM will be a nice shooter. Check the collet bushing... The Officer is a handy little pistol.

the NM was barly shot the front barrel collet is still nice and tight no cracks like they tend to do I do want to get a spare collet just incase it does crack. I was actually shocked that theres no play at all in the barrel when its in the slide. very nice fitment. I want to make some light loads for it since it feels like the recoil spring is really light I dont want to push it to hard.
