Definetly like what Im hearing about cracking down on the BS plea bargains , sentencing guidelines and going after the straw buyers/buyers . The micro stamping thing is ridiculous though . Somewhere floating around is a study that was performed by Maryland regarding something very similar to microstamping . It was a total boondoggle , wasted millions of dollars and didnt help solve a single crime and was scrapped . Sounds like our Philly members need to start lobbying these two guys to get the ACCURATE information in their hands . I guarentee you that Cryin Bryan Miller , CeaseFire PA and ACORN will be bending both their ears daily .

I wonder if all the people who are prevented from voting in the primaries (independent/libertarian) could vote if it would have changed the outcome?

Should people join one of the main parties just to be able to have a voice twice a year instead of just once?

How many pro-gun people actually vote in the primaries?

Won't happen or if it does it will just lead to more problems. Even a small reduction in plea bargains would cause unbearable stress in our court and prison systems, which are already beyond capacity. The only way that'll work is if the Legislature/Congress gets its head out of its ass and starts either repealing or reforming laws on drugs and thus reduce our world-leading incarceration rate. Then we'll have enough space to stop pleading out the most serious crimes if it means an unjustly light sentence.

Man that's a really big topic that deserves its own thread or even its own forum. People have been debating that topic since at least the 19th century and we're no closer to a consensus-- there are compelling arguments on both sides.

Oh no doubt , I couldnt agree more that the War on Drugs is a complete farce and has a great deal more to do with legislating morality and ensuring the continuation of bloated Fed LEO Budgets and donations from Private Prison Contractors and Builders then it does with any legitimate purpose .

California is poised to legalize it , so we just live to see the day it happens NationWide
