Empty, drop the striker by pulling the trigger and push in on the little thing on the back of the slide. There is a catch on it that needs to be pushed forward. You may need a pen or a round to do it. You may have to pull the slide to the rear slightly. When this is done, the slide should lift up and then forward.

Be safe (and only fix unloaded firearms).

Run a few hundred rounds through it; it'll disassemble itself...

thanks guys, its my wifes she bought it cause it was small, it was a .22 and it was affordable $100 total

    problems

    1. stove pipe every 3 rounds(fixed by playing with the feed lips on the mag)

    2. a times the slide does not go all the way back or all the way forward(clean and smooth out the rails, i hope)

    got it a part

    thanks

Damn, that was my answer. Well, actually a BFH, but close enough.

FWIW e..s..303, you'll be an expert at it soon enough.

I keep poking at mine in hopes of someday finding the solution to fix all problems, and I think after 10 years I'm getting close. Today at the Reading gun show I actually spent $15 on a new mag (more than the gun is worth IMHO) hoping that might help, as well as buying 6 different types of .22 lr to see if there's a magic bullet (npi) that'll cycle through a 6 round mag with no problems.

I'll give a range report if I find one.
