Default project vehicles (see list)

I am looking to start a project that doesn't involve rare parts, price gouging and expensive FFL transfer fees LOL more to the point, a non-firearm project.

What I am looking for is one of the following vehicles that do not have to run but must contain the broken part(for replacement info). body work is not an issue just as long as it is repairable. on to the list.........

1982-1985 Chevy / GMC pickups
1982-1985 Pontiac Grand Prix
1982 1985 Chevy Monte Carlo
1982-1985 Buick Regal
1982-1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass

please keep in mind that I am looking for a project vehicle, not a show piece and I am going to be building using performance parts of my choice so please do not try to sell me a $300 car for $700 because it has a $400 carburetor in it, that is really starting to annoy me.... example...

I found a olds cutty down the road and it needs both door skins, windows, interior, exhaust and tires and it does not run(out of time) so i nicely ask the owner how much he's asking and he replies "$1,000 firm" I ask why so much and i mean no disrespect. he then replies " its got a $600 edlebrock carb and a $300 edlebrock cam" so i ask how much if i give you back the carb and cam? he replies, i'd rather keep it. now keep in mind its been sitting atleast 6 years w/o moving or having the doors opened. i just said thanks and walked away.

another example of what annoys me............

i found a 1984 grand prix rusting away in a field down by johnstown so i call the number and ask how much and what it needs, the owner replies " it just wouldn't start one day and i'm asking $2,000" so i reply very respectfully why so much? he replies " you know its a classic now right?" so i got angry for him basically trying to play me for a fool and i told him its a junk yard classic and you'll never get more than $250 for it or you'll have to pay 50 bucks to have the scrap guy come and get it lol

so please guys, projects only and respect me as i'll respect you

EDIT: forgot to mention the most important, the frame MUST be good
