Has anyone here been confronted for printing by a NON LEO?
Summer is here. thank..goodness.
here come the wife beaters, the cutoffs, and the T's.
the average joe/jane isn't going to notice the obvious outline of my FNP9.
i have never once been asked or questioned once while printing in large font.

Re: Has anyone here been confronted for printing by a NON LEO?
Never confronted (that's probably not the best term to use), but I have been asked a couple of times over the last 20 years.
One time I recall specifically was when I was carrying a .38 snubby IWB at the 5:30 position. I'd bent over for one reason or another when talking to my wife's supervisor (I was picking her up at work). The butt of the revolver really printed against my tee shirt.
When I turned around, his eyes were the size of saucers. He asked me "is that a gun?". I responded in the affirmative. Not another word about it since.

Re: Has anyone here been confronted for printing by a NON LEO?
If you mean by someone I did not know personally, then, no - no one has ever even looked at me sideways regardless of how badly I "printed".
People tend to see whatever they 'expect' to see.
On occasion when around others, even though I thought I was 'printing' so badly I figured that I might as well be Openly Carrying, it sometimes casually comes up that I am 'packing' - only to have them be honestly amazed and surprised that I am armed when I reveal my Smith Model 65 with a 4"barrel!
Like I said, people tend to 'fill in the bulge' on your hip or in your shirt/jacket as a cell phone or a colostomy bag or "whatever" pops into their preconceived expectations.
.Cogito, ergo armatus sum....Say that to my face.

Re: Has anyone here been confronted for printing by a NON LEO?
Once, when I first got my LTCF. I was at a bar* with some friends shooting a game of pool. I had a tighter shirt on and after I leaned over really far to make a far shot the bartender asked me if I was "packing" I told her I was and she asked me politely if I could put it in the car. I obliged and everything was cool.* I have since revised my carry methods for tight shirts to avoid printing if I care to. Haven't been made since.
*Yes, I was drinking. I am an adult and I can chose to do that if I wish. However this is the internet so feel free to call me a reckless threat to society.
*Yes, I locked my gun in the car. I do this sometimes as it is my property and I can do wth it as I wish. If some criminal decides to pry open my locked trunk and steal my gun I'll sleep like a baby. However, this is the internet so feel free to call me a reckless threat to society.
