    Default Blanket Apology

I'd like to offer a blanket apology to all I've offended over the years here.

I'm sure all of you have noticed that I pretty much say things straight up, without sugar coating it, with no regard to others' feelings. I am sorry if I've offended on any subject matter.

    My only excuses are:
    1. Its how I was brought up, to say it how it is. ..That saying it straight keeps one away from telling lies. And that one should believe everyone else is grown enough to accept the truth as worded as such.
    2. I can be very opinionated at times. I do try to note what are opinions and what are facts though.
    3. Sometimes I like to debate even if I know ahead of time that I'm factually incorrect. Continuing with my argument, even though I know I'm wrong, just to spur conversation and keep the flow of information that wouldn't normally be posted by either side.

I will try to work on my diplomacy some in the future.

    Sorry,
    Knight

You'll never make a good polititian but who cares. Most times, that's the only way to be,no question left.No need to be sorry,it's the "human factor".

i think i probably am too.

but, personally, i would rather deal with someone who is straight up and just calls it as they see it than someone who pussyfoots around any day.

the world in general needs thicker skin...and more intellectual honesty...and less beating around the bush.

so, as far as i'm concerned, at least, you can just keep on keepin' on...

(oh, and, imho, it is far better to have one good friend than 1,000 so-called friends.)

I was just going to make a thread about how much I like people who say things straight up, without sugar coating it, no matter who's feelings get hurt.

    How ironic.....

Well, since I'm the nicest, most polite, fluffy-kitten-silk-on-your-asscheeks person on this forum, I for one say...um, what were you saying again? Oh yeah, no worries man. I kinda noticed that you were more inclined to go off the deep end as of late, but I wouldn't exactly call you a nuisance or menace to society. No worries mano.

You could always blame the pigeons.
