    Default Ouch, I hurt and my gun is broke

    So I took the 03 to the range with 80 rounds, got here sighted in and shooting great and then on the 76th round KABOOM!!!!!!

    How the hell did that happen? Touch off a primer out of battery? Cookoff? not headspaced?

    i went through 75 rounds without a single problem and then kaboom on 76 the gun flew forward and I flew backwards off of the bench as for what happened exactly i don't have no freaking clue but i hope it never happens again lol

    Where did you acquire this rifle? Was rifle inspected by a competent GS? headspace checked?

    +1 - That's why I always have headspace checked when I get old bolt rifles _ dont have anymore to speak of now - but yeah.
