    Default New Hampshire CCL

So I applied for my NH CCL in mid Feb. They said 14 days, here we are at the end of March, and they haven't even cashed the check. Is it 14 days from when they open it, cash the check, or are they just behind?

I'd call them if I were you.

I received mine in about 30 days as well.

Where did you see the 14 days thing?

I think that is the time frame given in the N.H. statute. It usually takes 30 days from mailing to receipt, a week to get there, two weeks to issue, a week to get back to you.....

I would call and see as well, maybe it fell behind a desk....

Found it now. Didn't the first time I looked:

    Taken from here:

How long does it take to process applications submitted to the Permits and Licensing Unit?
Applications are processed within 14 days of receipt. If the application is denied, the applicant will receive written notification of the reason for such denial. If you have not received a response after three weeks, please feel free to call us at (603) 271-3575.
    Hope this helps.

I just sent mine in at 930 this morning. I sent it certified mail, thus requiring a signature upon receipt. I've heard it shouldn't take more than a month. BTW, Virginia was REALLY quick. Hats off to the Virginia State Police.
