First Post
Oldie but newbie here.
At the age 70, I’ve just purchased my first firearm (Ruger MK2 ) and visited the sheriff’s office to apply for a license to carry. I decided it was better to get the license than worry about transporting it and other trivia. I’ll be buying several more guns; my next will be a Luger parabellum replica. That and the MK2 will probably satisfy my craving for Luger look-a-likes, and then I’ll be after a modern US military rifle type knockoff.
I’ve been lurking here while trying to become knowledgeable of PA’s gun laws. My namesake “Steve in PA”, among others, has been a big help in getting me up to speed. He mentioned that he got a copy of “Pennsylvania Laws Relating to Firearms” from his state senator. I found that the publication is available on-line as a PDF file. Here is a link to the document (8mb download): http://www.foac-pac.org/laws/state-book.pdf
However, in addition to above, this link has it all: http://www.foac-pac.org/laws/laws.html
Thanks
