As far as tearing families apart, that should have been thought about before the illegals decided to come here, illegally, and have kids, commonly known as "anchor babies". 1. She is attempting to get illegal aliens to remain where they are and to believe they are citizens of the US, this will help California get even more power when the Census is done and house seats are divided up as well as electoral votes. California currently has like 55 people in Congress, since the last census their population has exploded due to Mexican immigrants, if they are counted it seems likely that California will pickup many more seats.

There are 435 seats in the House. California has 55. that means almost 8% of the voting power in the US is from California. Without the illegals California will most likely not gain any new seats and will probably lose one or 2.

2. Illegals on gov't paychecks drain the STATE funds, not the federal funds as far as I know. Getting this overturned would save California Billions a year and cost the rest of the US tax payers that much money

3. Medical coverage for illegals comes out of California budget, if they are citizens they would be covered under Medicare

4. Illegal labor is hella cheap compared to legal labor, California NEEDS slave labor because of how much they charge in taxes and the cost of living (wage they would have to pay their employees). Without the slave labor all the companies in Cali would pack up and leave for more affordable states. Its not like the companies have to be on a river or train track to ship their goods wherever they need to go.
