Hell Just Froze Over!

Well...it happened .....my AK-47 jammed!

Was at the range this weekend and bolt locked almost closed and wouldn't open....until I beat the charging handle off the 4X4 post for the roof.

Turns out there was a little piece of metal beside the case in the chamber, it came out with the shell.....

So..it does happen.....crap..I suppose my Glock is next

I have seen a few jammed AK's, a few jammed Glocks and even a BROKEN AK. In fact, the day the AK broke my Glock jammed.

I only had an AK jam because the primer cup popped out of a random Wolf round...and got jammed in the bolt carrier. The round didn't go off...

I didn't think too much about it, since I cleared it, jammed the mag back in, and dumped the last half of them, so the gun still works good

dont let all the guys with the "piss in it to clean it and bury it in mud for storage" attitudes hear you!
you know.... the guys who never shoot enough to get a jam

the AK I have now hasnt had any issues yet, only got a couple hundred rounds through it myself. Prob wont see many more, I dont really enjoy shooting it much.
my old AK had quite a few stovepipe's.

I have had more malfs with my AK's and GLOCK then my AR's and 1911 (zero). And the AR's and 1911 have seen much much more use.
