What's the worst comment made to you while/about OC'ing?

Just wondering, as someone asked me the other day. Nobody has ever said anything negative to me. I've been victim of the evil eye by many a disgruntled soccer mom but that's about as much trouble as I have ever had just short of a full year of OC'ing. How has it gone for you?

I know there is a bunch of OC reports but I'd like to have it all thrown down in one thread, maybe others who are new to OC'ing can check this thread and be a little bit more prepared for what kind of haranguing's they might receive out in public.

I would say it was a toss up between those three. Same cop, same place.

Well there was that one time that a soccer coach told me "I carry a gun to shoot people!" implying that because that's why he carries a gun it must be why I was carrying one....as if I was out hunting people.

There was also the good old sheriff of Lebanon County (who is running unopposed in the election I might add) who said in court "The public would not be in danger if they did not know they were in danger" (inferring that OC meant the public was in danger so that if one were to conceal this would all be avoided).

I am sure there are more but....I need to get some dinner.

The comment was not made to me directly, but was overheard by my father, who was sitting with me at the restaurant, and was still there after I left. It was made by a woman sitting with her husband at the table next to us.

"Was that what you thought it was!?!"

Like it was a water pistol or something. Or maybe a cell phone disguised to look like a gun.
