Got my permit
In case you didn't guess (and I will pretend not to know you if you didn't) I just got my LTCF today. Now all I need is a damn holster so I don't get a plexiglass-like nickname and someone to help me swap out the Jet-Funnel magwell for the lanyard block on my USP so I can use my magazines. I also have a car now yay!

Congrats! Just checked on the Mrs.' today. 3 weeks and still not approved. The Sheriff's Deputy I spoke to however did apologize profusely, saying, "I know. It's pretty shameful at the moment." I replied, "I know. A friend of mine who works in the courthouse told me you have about 2 boxes full of applications." He chuckled and said, "Well, you know we're not lying to you then."
The wife and I are still a little impatient, but at least we know there's other people out there who are also taking responsibility for their own personal safety.
