Because Rush Limbaugh is an asshole? So long as they don't make any attempt to use the power of government to silence free speech, does it really matter who they criticize?

When the Bush administration criticized the New York Times over it's reporting of Abu Ghraib, that didn't mean that they were trying to silence the liberal media. People in the Obama administration criticizing Limbaugh is no different.

I don't think obama himself would want to sensor someone like rush limbaugh but I believe people in his admin would. Can't really fault he guy for responding to limbaugh. And no I am not an obama supporter by any means. Just believe in whats right is right. But I remember hearing the cries about censorship when it happened.

It is not okay for the PotUS to blast a radio personality. I don't think the PotUS should publicly criticize media personalities at all. Especially not during an official press conference.
