Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum, i thought i would start off by trotting out my toys and introducing myself. Well, sort of introducing myself. Not fond of dropping my real name on the interweb. I don't live in PA, I live in Nevada. However I checked out a lot of forums and really liked what i saw here. I am in law enforcement, specifically corrections, and i have just recently started buying all the guns i've wanted since i was a kid. I have been shooting since i was old enough to hold a .22, when my father thought it would be funny to have me shoot a Remington 12ga. I've been interested in Firearms ever since. I love hunting, target shooting, and just blowing up cans and phone books when the mood strikes me. Heres what I have:




The Glock is a (relatively) older model 21, which is of course chambered in .45 ACP. I'tis probably going to belong to my father fairly soon though. The old man has wanted a Glock since they started making them.

The other semi is my newest purchase, and the best one i have made yet. It is a Para-Ordinance P-14 1911. 14 rounds to a mag and one on the tube. There ALWAYS one in the tube Also .45 ACP. The holster is a Galco horsehide Concealed holster that i found under a stack of cheap plastic holsters at the local gun shop. It keeps the Para unseen inside the back of my pants.

The wheelgun is an older Sturm-Ruger Single six, in the old 3-screw configuration. I'ts chambered in .22. Right now I only own a .22 Mag wheel for it, but i'm waiting for Ruger to get back to me about whether they will be able to send me the .22 LR wheel i know they used to make for this gun. I'ts a 3rd generation hand-me down from my father.
The other stuff is just a small sampling of my outdoors gear, mostly knives. Oh, and only the most important document in the country in booklet form.

Welcome!! I resemble your screen name also, but not like some others here. (Pennsyplinker.....where are you?)

Nice start to your collection. I too have just recently acquired a Para 14-45. My dad has the same single six that you have, which he carried everywhere when I was a young-un, in New York State, no less.
