Re: anyone going to gunshow in windgap
I'm thinking about it... but the Eagle Arms show last week-end at Day's Inn wasn't exactly filled with bargains... and the Wind Gap ride is about 40 minutes for me... plus, next week-end there's a non-Eagle Arms show at AG Hall in Allentown, which is 10 minutes for me, so I'm not sure I'm going to hike up to Wind Gap yet.

Re: anyone going to gunshow in windgap
Rich Warner and his wife afforded me a very nice discount on some bricks of 22lr when I mentioned that I was a member of this forum. They had a good selection of reloads in the most popular calibers and the posted prices were quite reasonable. I've had excellent results with their 9mm loads in both FMJ and JHP, both clean and accurate.
Friendly people who continue to put the customer first!

Re: anyone going to gunshow in windgap
I am female and I find gun shows to be places were my gun is most needed. Not for protection but to be taken serious. I have been ignored and sometimes the answers to questions that were given me were so lame. When they see the gun on my hip they know I am not there because my husband and/or boyfriend dragged me there.

Re: anyone going to gunshow in windgap
Over crowded and under stocked. If you want to buy a bunch of cruddy brown lever action rifles then this is the gun show for you! I think less than 10% of the firearms there were made in the last 10 years.
Went in with a friend and my girl, spent about 15-20 minutes browsing around. Place really didnt have anything my local shop doesnt have... and at more expensive prices too... seemed like a hang out for the 60+ crowd to get together and bullshit eachother.
Only bit note worthy as posted by another above, Warners had a bunch of ammo out there at good prices, too bad I wasn't looking for ammo today.
Thats my take, so take it for what its worth. probably nothing.
