Re: magazine question
You should search these type of questions, before posting a new thread. There are a ton of threads on this exact question.... as long as I'm posting a reply.. You can leave your magazines loaded pretty much forever. The springs deteriorate because of the constant compression and decompression from loading and unloading them. Leaving them under compression will not effect their performance, seems to be the majority consensus.

Re: magazine question
Definitely one to search but since we're on the subject, I've heard not to leave them loaded. Not because of the spring but because of lip creep, that is , the spring putting pressure on the lips of the magazines. That's why Pmags come with the dust cover that pushes down on the spring and alleviates pressure on the lips, that way they are ok to leave loaded.

Re: magazine question
Well, I don't have the answers, but I rotate the clips in my home defense 9mm about once every two months. I was told by people back in the day that it was good practice to do so to thwart spring problems. As I said, I don't have any answers, but I can tell you I have done this for ages with this particular gun and have not detected any issues which would preclude me from continuing the practice.
