    Default Carry permit Question

On the app. It asks for your Employer. What if your Currently Un-employed? Should you Just Put N/A or Un-Employed? An Can they Deny right to carry for such a minor thing?

They can't deny you for being unemployed.

Yeah I know. Thats why I was checking on it. I've heard of people gettin Denied for no reason at all. An I got tattoos an no job. doesnt look good from there point of view. But, that would be illegal to judge someone from apperence correct? When I got nuthing aginced me. Not even a ticket lol. An i did some research before I thought about getting one. An they got to give you a lawful reason why you were denied I read somewhere.

If you can pass pics it shouldn't be a problem.
Like you said, profiling isn't supposed to happen but it does.

Instead of mailing mine in, I took it there myself. It was close by. The guy looked it over for all of 3 seconds and said, "You got 2 minutes? We're gonna process this right now."

I had the employer section blank, wasn't sure why they needed it, and which contact/phone number to put down.

He said they didn't need it, and I was out of there in minutes.

I'm betting it i only there for those folks who live outside of PA, but work in PA, and want the PA LTCF for that reason. Then they can contact said employer for verification if necessary.

If I'm wrong, maybe someone can chime in with a correction, this is just a guess on my part.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

Mike the easiest thing is just walk into the courthouse...3rd floor, they took my pic to put on my card. Paid my money and left....You should be fine with leaving it blank...if they ask say your unemployed....took about 3 weeks or so for mine, but I also had to go back in to make sure I was registered on the tax rolls, so you may want to walk to the old courthouse for them to look you up and make sure you are there that way it will process faster.

    First, welcome to the forum.

Second, I can see you are anxious about getting your License To Carry Firearms, but breathe You can ask other questions in the same thread you opened about this already

Fill out the form to he best of your ability. When you go to drop it off, ask what you should do for the employer spaces. They will tell you whether to put N/A or unemployed, or to just leave it blank. Follow the instructions given by your county if you want it to go through smoothly. If they make some sort of extra demand for info that is not necessary, either provide it, or not. If you don't, and they deny you, you will have to go to court to fight it. But nobody ever wants to be a test case

This is a shall issue state, so as long as there are no disqualifiers in your background, you will get it, tattoos or no, job or no.

Im just saying, I got a tat. on my neck an hands. Totally exposed. Even though I heard of bikers having permits. Yeah im a little anxious. Its something I was looking forward to doing since I first started shooting when i was a kid. An i feel I deserve the right being a lawful citizen. Im gonna print the form off front an back here. An fill it out an take it in. But what you Mean. Tax rolls? what you mean? Couldnt I bring in a W2 or something? It lets them know im paying taxes. An I live where I claim. Im just really dont wanna get turned down. Alot of stuff been happening around here. Someone just got found murdered this week, a block away from the court house. So, I wanna be safe who knows what people will do now adays.
