I am planning a trip to Missouri , will be traveling through WV. and Kentucky . Does anyone know if in any of these states you are required to notify LEO of having weapon if you are stopped .

I don't think you are required to do so in W.Va, but IDK about Kentucky...what a stupid CCW page they have....

WV isn't a must notify state at all.

If I remember correctly, KY is not a must notify state as well.

If you happen to venture into OH or NC - both of them are must notify states.

I know we have reciprocity with all three states , that's why I'M going that way instead across ohio , indiana and illinois . I just can't find on the must notify part for these three states .

Wonder if Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois ever consider all the revenue they lose in sales tax etc when LCFA holders drive around their states?

Just an FYI, I believe CO and TX are notify states too. I'd like to know which states are notify as well. Hmmm, OH, huh? I've been through OH several times with my guns and I didn't know that.

Indiana has reciprocity with PA. Actually, Indiana pretty much recognizes a LTCF, concealed carry permit, LTCH, whatever from any state if I understand my new state's laws correctly. You can go to http://ingunowners.com/forums/ to double check.
