Badger Ordnance M2008
I'm currently building a .260 Remington Ackely Improved on the Badger Ordnance action. The action is currently at Bartlein Barrels, the build is as follows; Badger Ordnance M2008 action, Badger Ordnance rings, Jackson CG Two-stage trigger, Bartlein 24" SS Fluted m-24 contour barrel with muzzle brake (to be determined), 5R 1 in 8.5 twist. For the stock, I plan on using the KMW Sentinel (depending if Terry Cross makes the stock for this action come summer time) and an Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 optic.

Re: Badger Ordnance M2008
The badger ordnance m2008 action is a mix between the accuracy international and the remington 700 actions. Its has an m16 style extractor and accepts remington 700 parts (trigger, some stocks...may have to be modified though, depending on the stock), the barrels are easily changeable. This one is the short action variant. Badger plans on putting out magnum and lapua actions, which I'll be building next (.338 lapua magnum). Its build like an M1a2 abrams...the turbine is slightly smaller though . The scope base can also be swopped out for a steeper angle base (i.e. 40 moa). It comes labeled on the box, 7.62x51 (.308win) but as long as you have a case that derived from that round, you'll be ok (7mm-08, .260 rem, etc). I plan on making this my 1,000 meter cold bore zombie/steel killer. The action is smooth as butter, it does weigh 4.25lbs though, thats about 1lb heavier then the surgeon action.

Re: Badger Ordnance M2008
I most certainly will. I'm currently deployed right now and won't be back to the commonwealth until about mid september, but it should be very close to completion by then and I may be able to have Frank for Bartlein barrels send me a few pics of it as it progresses.

Sweet! Your gonna love it.
I saw pics of a build recently that was bedded in an AI stock. guy had it set up to run two different calibers. Very cool indeed.
