    Default dented case shoulder

I resized some LC 5.56 brass last night using Hornady One Shot. Some of the cases had some dented shoulders upon inspection. Is it okay to reload these cases or should they be tossed on the recycle pile?

It sounds suspect, and depends on how bad the dent is. But you couldn't hurt anything really by throwing them in the recycle pile

depends on how bad they are. if they are little dents dont worry, they should pop out after being fired.

Probably used too much lube. Clean out the vent hole in your sizing die. might to clogged and not alowing air to escape causing the dents. Load 'em and shoot 'em. Cases will fire form and dents will disappear.

None of the dents goes beyond the angled flat of the shoulder. They don't seem to be that bad, I can post pics if necessary. Fairly new to reloading and I'm full of newb questions. Any cautions on loading those cases i.e. keeping them at minimum load?

If the dents are just on the shoulder that is a sure sign that a bit too much lube used. You need very, very little lube to have then go in and out of the die easily. Also, as said, make sure the vent is clear to allow air to escape. If the air doesn't escape the pressure builds quickly and dents the shoulder area.
