Add these numbers up for me.....
Brady bunch rating of ND is 4 out of 100 [very Bad people]
http://www.stategunlaws.org/viewstate.php?st=ND
There were TWO (2) Murders there in 2008 both by stabbing
http://www.kxmb.com/t/schools/313515.asp
The math doesn't add up in my mind.
If God didn't intend us to have guns why would he have given us a trigger finger?

It's the Brady bunch, they're not bound by the laws of logic.

Re: Add these numbers up for me.....
4/100 score is derived from their opinion of gun laws on the books.
There were only two murders, both by stabbing, and quite low 'gun related' crime compared to other states with much higher ratings (NY, NJ, CA).
Therefor, the only logical solution to the equasion is;
Gun laws dont do a damn for crime (to the power of) Brady Camp not having a clue what theyre talking about.
I think I may have missed a square root of 'sheeple beleive anything' in there, but its still pretty close.

Re: Add these numbers up for me.....
Can you spot the FAIL on that site?
Have you ever noticed that the states where many of their BS ideas have been implemented are the states with the most 'gun violence'?
My favorite 'FAIL'? The chart with the 'School Shootings'. Hey, idiots, guns were already BANNED at those schools! You think if s decent, law-abiding student or teacher were carrying a concelaed weapon any of those outcomes would have been the same? In Virginia, even the school security (having the same training and responsibilities as a municipal police force!) did not have weapons. A cretin with a single-shot could have fired more rounds than he could carry in the 34 minutes it took for the nearest cops to get there."...a REPUBLIC, if you can keep it."

Re: Add these numbers up for me.....
I would like to point out that ND doesn't count as it is practically Canada... therefore the Brady Campaign doesn't consider them in their findings other then as a "courtesy" to the Canadian gov't
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Re: Add these numbers up for me.....
They list their scorecard showing how they arrived at that point level here:
http://www.stategunlaws.org/xshare/p..._scorecard.pdf
ND got 4 points based on their laws. It's not based on crime figures.
Also, notice in the rankings they tell you it's 4th out of 50 States. I'm guessing most of their target audience doesn't know how many States there are.

Re: Add these numbers up for me.....
This definately ups my respect for N.Dakota, anywhere that ticks off the Brady bunch like this must be a good place. With similair thought, I always check to see if a weapon I wish to purchase is illegal in California. If it is, it gets a higher priority rating on the to buy list.
