Re: Open Carry Honeybaked Ham, Glen Mills, PA
I responded "ma'am, you couldn't be more mistaken, open carry is legal in Pennsylvania provided you are not a prohibited person." I reached in my back pocket and handed her a PaPatriot flyer. She looked at the cover, angrily stuffed it in her purse and then as she pointed at my son said, "well what about him?"
"He's too young to carry, so I have to carry for him."
"He's exactly the reason I carry. I'm his first line of defense from child molesters, perverts, and strange women."

While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

The funny thing is my grandfather bought my mom a toy tommy gun when she was a kid, but grandma returned it to the toy store. So grandpa tried to get a girl in the 1950's to touch icky boy and man toys, but that darn grandma and her backwards ways!
Sheeesh.. I almost wouldn't touch some of the icky man things she touches
I wear nitrile gloves. LOL I haz it!11!!LOL, I am a woman...

GL23, good job on keeping your cool and doing a little educational work at the same time.
This is very close to my first thought as I read the OP. I know I would have said something like, "Who, him? He's too little to carry his own gun yet." And I usually don't have trouble coming up with stuff like this at the moment it is needed. That's what gets me into trouble most of the time!
