Curio Pieces

I'm curious as to what the collector value on a true Nazi MP40 & MP44 may be if anyone has an idea. DEWAT and all paperwork. All the markings are intact, very little surface rust but definitely saw action.

Appreciate any insight.

If they are true DEWAT's with the paperwork, they are very valuable. You can file w/ ATF to reactivate them as a live transferable machine gun, so they are very desirable.

They are worth nothing. In fact, they will start to cost you money in about a week(the ATF has a little known rule that 7 days after you publicly ask about the value of inherited firearms, they charge you a $400 a month tax.) Seeing as you are a brand new member, I will offer to take them for free, as I have a special exemption stamp.....

Just kiddin' of course...

well there's an MP40 on gunbroker for $12k, that is already transferable, so that should give you an idea there.
