Here it comes!

Unreal!
When the second amendment is gone, the rest won't mean a damn thing!

Re: New push for Constitutional Convention
I love WorldNetDaily, every link I moused over in that article was either a reference to another story they wrote or a link to their store where they are selling something.
I put WorldNetDaily slightly above the National Enquirer with regards to important news.Dan P, Founder & President, Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association

Re: New push for Constitutional Convention
My all time favorite WND story was
Student disciplined for pen with gun company logo
Caught after borrowing offending writing instrument from father
The entire story was sourced from a post at ar15.com. They included a few blog reactions to the story for good measure. That was it. They even admit in the story
Since the school district involved was not identified by the parent, WND could not contact officials for a comment.

Hey, even Matt Drudge Report has carried/broken credible stories. Don't be so quick to discount WND's stories.
I actually place The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Morning Call a notch or two BELOW the National EnquirerVeritas Vos Liberat

Re: New push for Constitutional Convention
I hope this isn't too off topic, but does anyone have a link to a "credible" (I know, I laughed inside after I read that too) news source for the ever encroaching Con-Con?
I would think that someone would have gotten wind of this if it were true...I just can't bring myself to believe some of the "sources" covering this. It seems that every link I've gone to (from other boards, sites, etc...) all link to the same type of article from an unknown source. It reminds me of the Men In Black movies where they read the daily "hot sheets" (National Enquirer) for updates on alien whereabouts.
I don't mean to come off as a jerk, I just would like some (more) credible sources before I go calling representatives about things. I thought I found one a few days ago from a governor's office, but it ended up being a link to WND as well.

Re: New push for Constitutional Convention
What I understand is this is been discussed for decades. Apparently 34 states need to call for a convention, 32 thus far have expressed want to convene, some may have retracted.
This is a bad idea, considering how our Constitution would likely be gutted.Veritas Vos Liberat
