Does anyone know of a shooting range or club that holds Steel Challenge style matches? I live near Milton PA and would be interested in anything within 2 hours of driving time.

Should be just about 2 hrs. from you according to Yahoo maps. I shot IPSC matches at Topton a few years back, was a good bunch of shooters there.

We haven't had any steel challenge type matches, but we have IDPA at Keystone Sportsmens association starting in january, we're only a few minutes up the road north of Turbotville.

I will warn you that the january and febuary matches really don't reflect our normal matches at keystone, since we use the upper ranges because of the conditions in the pits.

There was talk about doing some steel challenge type matches at Mifflin County Sportsmen's next year. They were running a 2 stage "side match" this year during their combat pistol matches. If you check with them closer to the start of their 09 season, someone would be able to tell you if they're going to go ahead with it.

I haven't been there in a couple years, but Palmyra Sportsmen Assoc. holds some pretty large steel matches.

Their facilities are fabulous ! It might be pushing the 2hr. limit for you- not sure.
