Default Question for CCW from Ohio to Penn.

    Hello, new to the forums.
I will be traveling from Ohio to Pennsylvania for christmas, to the in-laws. I have my CCW in Ohio but I would like to be safe and get some kind of license in to carry in Penn. I was looking through the forums and main site and cannot seem to find it. Forgive me if I over looked it. Is there a form or application I can mail in or call in??

    thanks in advance

Here is a thread covering the non resident LTCF's.

Do a search for the Centre County Sheriff - he is VERY friendly/helpful for non-resident LTCF.

It should be noted that while PA does not recognize your Ohio carry permit for *concealed* carry, it IS recognized for VEHICLE carry.

So, if you wanted to, you could Open Carry.... just throwing that out there.

As for a Non-Resident LTCF; Yes, the Centre County Sheriff is your best bet for one.

So just with my Ohio CCW I could Open Carry in the car? You mean just the Federal law, Interstate transport?

No, I mean the way Pa Law is worded:
