Looks nice, if I were in the market for a 9mm carbine, I'd be interested.

I just have never understood the appeal of pistol-caliber carbines. For home defense I guess I could understand (less likely to over-penetrate). Author states economy, but a 22 LR is way cheaper to shoot than that.

"I*m a big fan of pistol-caliber carbines. I know a 5.56 rifle is better, but 9mm is a lot cheaper to shoot."

Can anyone explain the appeal in a nutshell? Not trying to be critical, just curious if I'm missing out.

Why does it need to serve any purpose other than a fun gun for the range? Not every gun has to be for home defense or competition or hunting. It's OK to have a gun that you just enjoy shooting.

I've never understood the appeal of PISTOLS myself, but I've never met a carbine I didn't like - regardless of what it's chambered in.

I am too.
I don't have much money to spend on these things, so I have very few guns "just for fun" - I typically choose things that are both fun AND can be used for self defense in order to be "practical".

I would absolutely buy one of these if I had the spare money. I have a Camp 9 carbine though, so there's no urgency to pick one up.
