Any thoughts?
Any thoughts on the Mernickle holsters for the 1911 for concealed carry? I've been looking at getting one of these when I pick up a 1911 for carry.

Re: Any thoughts?
I have a pair of PS holsters w/belt and ammo slide for my consecutive Ruger Montados. Superb! I'm planning on purchasing more of Mernickle's products.

Re: Any thoughts?
But it wouldn't be a designated CC rig. It would be used as such when the weather permitted wearing attire that would conceal it and it would be used as a OC rig when the weather was a bit warmer and I felt like "showing off" some. Biggest reason is it seems to be one of the narrower setups for the 1911. Narrower would be a bit easier to conceal and it happens to be a good looking rig that I wouldn't be embarassed to let others see.

If everything goes as planned, you won't have to worry about CC.

Failure for lack of retention. Thats just me though, some people think retention is overrated and inconvenient. Looks sharp though.
