    Sounds like fun!

    A few questions:
    1. What position are the participants shooting from (bench, standing, sitting, prone) supported or unsupported, sling or rest?
    2. Can I assume the participants will be shooting one at a time (since it's timed)?
    3. What paper targets are being used at 25 & 50?
    4. What sizes are the steel targets at 100, 160 and 200 yards?
    5. I assume reloading is included in the time for bolt guns and some semi's (as in a M1 Garand)?
    6. Are M1A's or more modern versions of the AR permitted?
    7. Lastly, do the shooters need to move from their initial position to engage all the targets?

    Thanks in advance!

Shooters will engage 25 and 50 yard targets standing, off hand. 100, 160 and 200 yard targets can be engaged from standing, sitting, kneeling or prone position. Slings are allowed as long is it is correct for the era of the firearm being used.

Shooters will be split into 2 groups, long range and short range. The long and short ranges are far enough apart that the timers are not affected by shots from the other range.

Targets at 25 and 50 yards will be about 6" plates. 100 and 160 are 10" steel and 200 yards is 12" steel gongs.

Shooters will load their firearms upon the start signal, magazines or clips will be loaded ahead of time. Each distance will be timed and scored separately and the total time and miss points will be added to equal the match score.

Both 25 and 50 yard targets will be engaged from one position, 100, 160 and 200 will be engaged from another position or if needed we have the option of a second position.

All shooting positions will be from under roof so weather is not a big issue.
