barrel install on a remington 700 action

Hey guys...I am looking for a gunsmith in the bucks/ northampton/ Montgomery County area that would be able to install a .300 blackout barrel on a remington 700 action. The barrel would also need to be headspaced. If anyone knows of a quality gunsmith that is able to do this, please let me know.

It's a given that the rifle would need to be headspaced if you are going to swap barrels.

What caliber is your Remington because if it's not a .223 type caliber, you will also need a different bolt face as it would be different dimensions if you had something like a .243/308 caliber.

I've never had Michael Hane do any work for me, but people like his work. I've spoken to him over the phone and his personality never won me over.

I've had Randy Hollowbush thread a barrel for me a few years ago. Work was good, but wait time was long.

You should look at doing a RemAGE barrel, which allows you to swap out barrels faster on your Remington. Same system that Savage owners have and will save you time and money down the line.
