UTAH CCW CLASS 25ppl Needed - Locally
I posted this in the Fayette & Greene County Forums, I thought I could draw some interest out of westmoreland county as well. Im trying to get a class together around Uniontown.
Here are the details thus far:
Date/time/location TBD... it all depends on if I can get at least 25 people comitted. ( have to do this per the instructor 25 student minimum)
it will definitely be on a weekend Sat or Sun in the evening on Sat or early afternoon Sunday, it will be a 4 hour class and only pen and paper will be needed, no range time involved.
The Fee is $50.00 for the course
The instructor will be Tony from http://www.fireinstitute.org They are a non-profit org.
He will provide all of the neccessary forms and instructions.
He will not do fingerprints, you can get those done at the PSP Barracks, most of the time it is free
The utah fee is $65.25 and will be sent in with the application
the application will have to get notarized before bieng sent in, usually a $5-$10 fee depends on notary you take it to.
I am thinking my location will be the American Legion hall in Smithfield or Fairchance PA, I am a Member and could probably use it for no cost.
The Utah CCW will give you The legal ability to carry concealed in 32 states in addition to any CCW's you may already have.
Alabama Alaska Colorado FLorida Georgia
Louisiana, Missippi, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota
Ohio, PA, South Dakota, Texas, Washington State,
Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana,
Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana,
Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Vermont,
Virginia, Wyoming
let me know if you are interested, Once I get the 25 ppl I will get the Location and Time Ironed out and let everyone know that is on my list.Sector 4

Re: UTAH CCW CLASS 25ppl Needed - Locally
Unless you are a resident of Utah, the Utah permit is not valid in Colorado, Florida, Michigan or New Hampshire as they only accept resident permits.
However, if you have our PA LTCF, and are a PA resident, you will be covered in those states.
Just wanted to be clear on the reciprocity.

You can consider me confirmed. Hopefully you can get enough people to make a class of it. Can we make another post on the general page to get some more people involved. Moderaters I'll need some info here.
