    Default F-I-N-A-L-L-Y.......!

After 11 long years and 140 credits later.....

I have finally graduated Penn State.
    BS Musiness Management.
The first 55 credits or so seemed to go by fast. It was just Tania and I - that's it. I carried 19-20 credits and worked 55-60 hrs a week as well. No problem.

Then Avery came (she's pictured with Tania and I)....And Peyton....and so on. (I also had a 2 year break in there around 2000-ish)

That shut me down to just one to rarely 2 classes a semester.

    But...it's done.

Graduation was right here at the Worthington-Scranton Campus.

And then, unfortunately, I had to take my daughter down to Community Medical Center in Scranton.

I got her up for school this past Tuesday and she appeared perfectly fine.

My wife got a call from the school nurse about 10am that Peyton had spiked a 103 degree fever and she needs to be picked up.
She threw up 3 times later that day. No real vomiting ever since.

I have 3 other youngins', so were well used to sick kids and no red flags were raised.
By Thursday afternoon though, I called the pediatrician because she was sustaining a 102 degree fever that only briefly subsided down to 100 with Motrin - then it'd creep back up again.

Well my sister-in-law watched Peyton and the two boys while I was at graduation....and on the way back home, she called us to say Peyton was acting odd/loopy. She was sorta pacing around, all flushed, and saying how she wants to go home (she WAS home). We were just 2 mins out.
Well, she was 103 degrees again......and after 4 days of high fever, I took her down.

    Bottom line? Admitted with pneumonia.

She'll be fine though. But she's gonna miss her ballet recital tonight and tomorrow afternoon.

    She's a good sport though!

Congratulations! College can be hard enough by itself and completing it while working full time and with a family is a real accomplishment.

I hope your daughter feels better real soon. Seeing any child in a hospital bed is hard on the heart.

Thanks - The daughter will be fine....

The worst is that she's DEVESTATED that she won't be able to do the recital (They're keeping her till at least Monday)

As for school......It looks like I'll start a Masters program in the fall at UofS. I hope THAT doesn't take as long! LOL!
