IS THIS GOOD? Advice asap!

Hey there!

I own a taurus .45 and i love it, but im looking to get a .22lr pistol so that i dont go broke at the range. Ive found this, and to my knowledge it seems to get pretty good reviews, so:

1.) Whats your opinion on the Smith and Wesson 22A Bull Barrel?

2.) I found new ones for 229.99, is that a pretty good deal?

The price seems pretty reasonable, but i was wondering if someone knows if there are cheaper ones somewhere?

I want to get one today so please let me know your opinions asap if possible!

they are going for 238 shipped on Buds Gun Shop and about that on Gun Broker so I'd say its a good price. get it and get shooting

I've got a 22A and I like it. I wish I would have gotten the fiber optic sites but I'm still happy with it.

I like mine.

They do, however, use a plastic recoil buffer that needs changed out on occasion. You can do some smoothing to help them last a lot longer.

Mine also had some wimpy extraction at times and that was also fixed by some filing of the extractor face. I now throw empties 10 yards with CCI Stingers.

Overall, a very accurate gun.

That is about average, I think...
I have a 22A, no bull barrel though. Lycan hit all of the major points. Great little pistol. They definately need to be cleaned thoroughly... I find that if I dont clean it meticulously, I have problems, usually failure to feed and eject properly.

Look into a Ruger MKIII 22/45. It's about the same price. Mine eats anything I put into it. I paid $237 for mine brand new.
