need to walk great excuse to OC

i had surgery on my back a month ago and it is a good idea to do some walking to help strengthen the muscles in my back. so i decided if i'm going to walk i may as well carry a gun. so yesterday i holstered up my glock 19 and walked to the local store to buy a pack of cigarettes. (first time carrying in a store) i was so nervous i just keep thinking in my head that at any minute police cars were going to surround me. thankfully it never happened, i barely got any weird looks. today my sister and i walked to the local DQ for ice cream i was less nervous today and had no problems and no looks.

BTW, cigarettes are NOT good for your healing back muscles

I had a full disc replacement in September 07 and my Dr. told me to walk, walk, walk. I just OC for the very first time yesterday, and the second today I knwo the feeling you are talking about. Just don't fiddle with or keep adjusting your gun's position and you should be fine. +1 for the OC

The only drawback I can think of is if the weight of you gun on only one side will cause problems with your back and it healing properly . . . other than that, carry on
