    Default Leverevolution!!!

New best thing for .357mags and 44mag revolvers. As far as hunting goes that is....too much penetration (>26'') for self defence. More ft/lbs with the new powder and awsome down trange trajectory with the soft balistic tip. Groupings out of a 4'' at 50 yards are unbeatable. If you hunt with a revolver pick up a box and give them a go, you won't be sorry.-BB

Just a caveat, they were developed for rifles and as such they are pretty powerful. Some revolvers may not like the pressures (can you say "blew up in my face"). I see no problem in something like a TC or other single shot and the Ruger Super Redhawk and Super Blackhawk would probably do ok. Others, I just don't know.

Just be real careful. Research the pressures BEFORE putting them through your standard 357 or 44. Better to be extremely safe than awfully sorry.

They did design a poly tip bullet for handguns that are hunting calibers to get better ranges This is the info for 357mag

These are the specs they show in FPS muzzle 50 yards 100yards 150yard
    357 Mag 140 gr. FTX (Handgun) 1440 1274 1143 1049
    357 Mag 140 gr. FTX (Rifle) 1850 1632 1438 1272

You can see the different velocities between the rifle and handgun loads.
