    Default Tracer Rounds.

Is this just a bad idea to try with my PX4 Storm? I'd really like to try them but don't want to ruin my barrel. Your thoughts?

Bought some incendiary tracer rounds awhile ago and never got around to trying them out. Gotta find a place to shoot that wont ignite, safety, safety. Sorry no real info for ya but I am curious myself

Tracer rounds will hurt your barrel no more than the searing hot gas from the burning powder. So shoot that thing until your heart is content.

Just one thing, be damn sure you are not shooting near anything flammable. Otherwise a fire is a real possibility with tracers.

I read a military TM or FM or (I'm not sure) that said never to shoot tracers at a ratio of greater than 50% of the load because it could do something to the barrel. Sorry I can't be more specific, but check Google. It's there.

I always thought that was because in full auto you don't need every round to be a tracer. I could be wrong though.
