Thumbs up Heading out to OC in Philly - with a 17 round mag

My last thread got hijacked so..here's a new one...

I read here that one of the new illegal laws in Philly is a 10 round capacity - so today I'm taking my glock 17. I'll be doing the same routine as last week - drop off rental car at airport - train to suburban station and then Wayne and then walk home - I think I might need to grab lunch while I'm in Philly too.....

I'll post back in a couple hours.....

I wonder how many people checked the post time quickly after seeing your post to see if a few hours or up yet or if you are still trying to get your phone call

Good luck, Frank. Although you probably don't need it.

    Default Just back

    Very uneventful...
OC'd in WaWa - same clerk as last week - he recognized me - glanced at my hip - broke out into a big smile and said Glock? I said yes G17 - he said very nice - I like those.

Avis car rental, Philly airport terminal D this time 30 mins walking around waiting for airport train, R1 train to suburban station, walking around Suburban station for 45 mins - Dunkin Doughnuts in Suburban station, R5 to Wayne - walk home through Wayne - only the conductors noticed on the trains. A couple people noticed but kept about their business and nothing was said. I didn't see any LEO's the entire trip.....

Keep at it The more people who do it, the more it becomes a non issue.

But wait, why did you need to even bring a gun to Philly? Nutter made new gun laws, so it's perfectly safe now. All the criminals turned in their guns, didn't you hear?

How can LEOs tell the difference between 10rnd and 17rnd mags?

Are they permitted to simply stop you and ask to count yer bullets?

    How is it enforced?

I apologize if this has already been hashed out - I have yet to peek into that massive Philly Gun Law thread.
