Did you buy or sell as a result of recent news?

I'm just curious, how many people responded to the recent news by buying or selling weapons? How many new gun owners? How many sold to take a profit?

Did some buying. No new firearms, some parts I needed, and some parts as spares.

You need a "Both" choice. I've sold at outrageous prices, and also bought some things for crazy money.

It's a selling market right now. But at the same time if you know where to look you can get a good item at lovely price even in this crazy time.

Sold few items and funded few new builds. Was able to find lowers and uppers at normal price level.

Sold case of x193 and turned it into 1700 rounds of m855.

Just by coincidence I did buy a nice used MKIII .22 for a good price. Another 22 pistol had been on my mind for some time now.
Although the recent events did prompt me to order some mags for my S&W 4006.

+1 on the both options. Sold a few "military-style high capacity assault weapons of mass destruction", so far bought another carry piece, a Mosin Nagant M44, and am constantly browsing the forum for deals.

The idea being I didn't want my collection to net shrink, I just wanted to diversify my assets a bit.

I bought some magazines, but I got them at "pre-hype" prices. Even with the spike in prices, I'm very, very unlikely to sell anything I already have.

I added a 4" barreled 22 lr revolver to my collection. Paid normal price for it. I didn't buy or sell anything because of the news. CCI stingers we're hard to find because of the news. I found them at Wally's world.

Seriously I purchased a nice pistol that I had been saving for, but the timing was coincidental to the recent "goings on".
