Re: Lancaster Gun Show - Appalachian Promotions
I've never been to a gun show. Would this be a good place to pick up a reloading press, dies, etc?

Re: Lancaster Gun Show - Appalachian Promotions
Probably not.
You might find dies & shellholders at a show along with some reloading components. But, expecting to find the specific press that you want at a decent price probably isn't realistic.
I'd suggest visiting Shyda's in Lebanon if you don't mind a bit of a drive from Chester County.

If you want new online is probably your best bet for reloading suppliers. Midway is one of the better online suppliers.

However, reloading equipment has a long service life, so you may want to be alert to used stuff for sale at gun shops or gunshows for that matter. But I would not make special trips or pay admission fees in hopes of finding used equipment, just be alert to deals when you are already there.

Re: Lancaster Gun Show - Appalachian Promotions
I have not been to a gun show either. What is there? New gun models? Are the gun prices better there than normal?
Are there accessories, like holsters and mags?

Re: Lancaster Gun Show - Appalachian Promotions
I just got back from the show a little bit ago. Waste of time, high prices, lots of knives, entire row of books on how to convert your 10/22 into a super suppressed sniper rifle...
Hot as hell inside too...Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.
