Dont know whats up with Dickson City Store but so a s to give heads up to other patrons (1st) Stack-on safe returned three times for new one each having heavy damage not visible from outside of box (2nd) Bought a Ruger 10-22 combo,had them bore sight and got to range after 20 rounds all over the place found the four screws holding base plate were never even tightened being able to shake each time shot (3rd) Bought a savage mark 2 got the gun home and realized NO set screws where the receiver was tapped and drilled,OH BOY !! In fairness bought a Bear compound charge bow and the teck was extremely helpful giving me all his attention to this purchase.More purchases to follow but very leary of any Firearms they sell or service ! Wanted to give heads up to all !

But, so far Gander Mtn is batting "0" with me. I've tried their stores in Dickson City, Johnson City, NY and Middletown, NY. Not only are prices higher than anywhere else, the service stinks and the employees are for the most part less than knowledgable.

I won't even go there anymore.

Gander is one of those places that I do visit. But rarely spend money there. I will stop and look when I am in the area, and killing time before I need to be somewhere else.

The Chinese place next to it is pretty good.
