Navy Veterans site
With Veterans Day coming up, just thought I'd pass this along. This is a very good site to register your time in the Navy. As well as look for old friends. When you set up your profile, your home page looks cool, at least my kids think so. You can post tons of pics you took while serving. Or anytime I guess. I've only been signed on a week now and theres a few of my shipmates on there. Looking at their pictures brought back so many memories of people and places I forgot. I posted a bunch and I'm glad I finally have a place to post them!

Re: Navy Veterans site
I joined 2 months ago and my free trial expired.
They want too much money for me to become a paying member.
But it is a great site. I located some old friends from 20+ years ago."Having a gun and thinking you are armed is like having a piano and thinking you are a musician" Col. Jeff Cooper (U.S.M.C. Ret.)

Re: Navy Veterans site
I've just been on a week, so I haven't got to the cash part yet. I have a few guys from my ship on there and exchanging photos and bs'ing is still pretty cool. We'll see what hapens. I'll probably dish out the $20 a year though. It's worth it to me just to have a place to post those old nav pics.

Re: Navy Veterans site
You do get stripped down to absolutely nothing once the free trial period ends.
From what I remember, you can't even communicate or see other people's profiles after that.
