My wife has asked me why I OC or CC, well the question was answered last night when 2 kids 13 and 14 were shot on my street. I told her that is why i carry and have a AR 15 up stairs and 2 Shotguns down stairs. So now she wants to learn to shoot, I said DUH!!!! lol

sadly i don't think someone getting shot on my street would make my wife want to get a gun or start shooting.

It is sad that it takes a tragedy like that in order to get people to realize basic gun skills are a must in today's world. I am very happy to hear she has come around.

I agree completely the mass as a whole despises gun carry unless they need someone to help them... then thats a completely different story. A person open carries gun into mall and gets asked to leave and possibly harassed by police. Yet when a person shoots someone in aid of another, there's not a second thought to whether or not it was justified for that person to be carrying... it's kinda sad. It's kind of like the age old hate the police routine, and yet when you need them the most you'll yell and scream that they didn't get there in time... kinda funny...

My wife was the same way.
She thought I was a bit nutty for carrying, but turned around when she saw an 8th grader waving a Glock at cars as they drove through an intersection in Germantown.
30 minutes later, she was at the MontCo Sherrif's office filling out the paperwork for the LCTF.

No, Germantown, which is part of Philthadelpia. We lived in Blue Bell at the time and worked in Philthy.
